BITUMEN MODIFIED ACRYLIC ELASTOMERIC COATING.
Mak Elastocryl EMB is high performance water-proofer liquid that dries to form a tough and flexible impermeable coating. It is a blend of tropical grade bitumen emulsion with modification using acrylic latex polymers. It is designed for use underground, internal and immersed areas.
Packaging: Available in 1kg, 4kg and 20 Kg Drum.
Coverage: Generally, Mak Elastocryl EMB will cover about immediate 1 sqm area by using 1.2 kg of the product in two coats to form a layer of 1mm thickness. It may vary according to the condition of the surface.
Shelf life: Shelf life of up to 12 months from the date of manufacture. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Avoid freezing of the material.
Health and safety: Acrylic material is non- toxic. In case of excessive skin contact, thoroughly flush with clean water. If ill effects occur, seek medical attention promptly.
Consumption: 1.2 kg/sqm in two coats. It may vary according to the condition of the surface.
Area of Application
- As an impervious waterproofing membrane.
- Useful on concrete and brick foundations, retaining walls and bridge abutments.
- For protection of Interior and exterior walls.
- Ponds, tanks and water features.
- Can be used as adhesive to bond wood blocks, expanded polystyrene and cork tiles to any surface.
- Could be used as a primer/ bond coat on bituminous substrates or repairing bituminous surface and membranes.
