UV RESISTANDT WHITE ACRYLIC ELASTOMERIC COATING.
Mak Elastocryl EMW is a single component, liquid applied, highly effective waterproofing system based on plasticized acrylic resin with U. V. resistant pigments. It cures on exposure to the atmosphere and forms an elastomeric white seamless membrane.
Packing: Available in 1Kg, 5Kg, 10 Kg and 25 Kg Drum.
Coverage: Generally, Mak Elastocryl EMW covers about immediate 1 sqm. area by using 1.6-1.8 kg of the product in three coats to form a layer of 1.5mm thickness. It may vary according to the condition of the surface.
Shelf life: Shelf life of up to 12 months from the date of manufacture. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Avoid freezing of the material.
Health and safety: Acrylic material is non-toxic. In case of excessive skin contact, thoroughly flush with clean water. If ill effects occur, seek medical attention promptly.
Consumption: 1.6-1.8 kg /sqm in three coats. It may vary according to the condition of the surface.
Areas of Application
- As weatherproof protective and decorative coatings for exterior masonry, concrete, cement sand rendered all types of exterior walls, etc.
- Roof decks and walls [either concrete or mortar, wood or metal]
- Can be applied over spray applied PU foam and other materials that are UV degrading.
- For waterproofing of slopey roofs.
- It can be used on all types of drywall surfaces like gypsum, cement fibre boards etc.
